In early June, Greer from LIFESAVER’s marketing department flew up to Inverness to visit Gordonstoun School. The reason for this trip was to demo the LIFESAVER bottle to a group of students and teachers who were going to a remote region of Thailand to build water tanks for a large village. Greer demonstrated the LIFESAVER bottle and answered various questions from both the teachers and the students.
In typical LIFESAVER style, Kim’s (Gordonstoun staff) dog Kip had been asked to provide Greer with a gift to add to the water . Needless to say, this put many students off trying the filtered water. However, they eventually gave it a go.
Given the reason for Gordonstoun’s trip to Thailand, LIFESAVER donated 20 LIFESAVER bottles to the group to ensure they have access to clean, sterile drinking water whilst in remote Thailand. These arrived during Greer’s time at Gordonstoun.
There will be further details about this Thailand Trip over the next couple of weeks, so please keep an eye on the LIFESAVER blog.
