With several hungry colleagues asking “it is ready yet?” I thought it was time to open up the Wonderbag and take a look at what I had cooked. I was really surprised by the heat that escaped when I opened the pan (forever a nervous cook). The curry looked wonderful and smelled very tasty. Now time to feed the five thousand.
Being quite anxious about cooking for so many people, particularly work colleagues, the food was actually really good and some even went back for seconds. My homemade raita went down pretty well to.
I really enjoyed the experience, the recipe book supplied with the Wonderbag was fabulous, the fabric was beautiful and it kept the curry perfectly hot a couple of hours after being taken off the heat. A great product for campers, travellers and those in developing countries.
Here’s what the LIFESAVER team thought about the Wonderbag:-
Helen – “I have to say that I have been pleasantly surprised by the Wonderbag. We tested a bag at work, I found it to be simple to use and the recipe we tried from the accompanying book was certainly delicious.”
Vince – “Wonderful food in a Wonderbag simple and easy to use”
Michael Pritchard – “Brilliant!”
Charlie – “Wonderbag, the clue is in the name. Prepare, boil, bag and leave. Save time, fuel, and nutritional value....”
Rachael – “I loved the Wonderbag, the food was delicious and due to the cooking time, the meat was very tender. I loved the idea, and enjoyed the eating afterwards!”
